Statutory Practice FAQs
Q: How does Section 43B(h) protect MSMEs regarding payment timelines?
A: Under Section 43B(h), any buyer failing to pay a registered Micro or Small Enterprise within the agreed period (maximum 45 days, or 15 days without agreement) loses tax deduction for that expense in the current financial year, and is taxed on that unpaid sum until actual payment.
